If one would travel, to decode the secrets that I hide
Starting with my heart, and ending with my mind

A strange, forgotten desert, could smother a lingering breath
Layed to rest next to decay, fighting the grasp of death

The desert in my body, is the result of broken trust
Sheilded by lies and hope, then left bleeding in the dust

Soft and slow, in the faded light, murmured whispers resound
Kept awake by fear, waiting to be found

Silent screams, only I can hear, left alone to hurt in glory
Crying inside, but living still, though insecure of what's left for me

So I crawl into myself, I comfort me, as my baby
Is killed, the innocence is gone, maybe blood could save me
