i dont really know what its about, i started writing and this is what i came up with. i couldnt decide on "Pieces of the Puzzle" or "Pieces of the Jigsaw" tell me which one you think sounds better or fits with the words. also plz tell me what u think its about and what category you think it belongs in.
    thnx and enjoy.

ok i think i know y i wrote this now. last week i went 2 c saw 2 and he said that the jigsaw represented that a vital piece was missing from rge person. I guess i wrote this with the notion of whats more vital in life than knowing who you are, faces are just faces unless you can put names 2 them

    dotsPieces of the Jigsaw (Puzzle)dots

    Pieces of the puzzle
    All scattered on the floor
    Knocked again from the table
As they start to taunt you once more
    A tear drop from tomorrow
    A memory from today
The pieces are few and far between
And only add to your dismay

    Some pieces fit together
Where as others seem so out of place
A piece whoís edges are jagged and torn
Sits next to its partner of lace
    A petal from a flower
A lock of coal black hair
    Some pieces fall together
But the puzzle still looks bare

    Four corners and a border
    But something still isnít there
    A picture isnít forming
No matter how hard you stare
    A photo from a childhood
A night light from a room
The pieces begin to laugh again
    Locking you in their tomb

    Like a simple childrenís jigsaw
This is more complex than you think
    The pieces are all haunting
And drive you to the brink
A necklace from a sweet heart
    A whisper from a lover
Piece by piece you work it out
But still you can not uncover

After all is said and done
After every piece has been placed
    All except the missing piece
It is time for the truth to be faced
A gap is left in your puzzle
And a hole is left in your heart
    You answers will never fit
But you knew that from the start

    The pieces have succeeded
You can no longer heed their call
Your were outwitted by a childís game
This puzzle wont hang on your wall
A letter from a loved one
    A deep and unfading scar
    Your memories are nothing
If you canít remember who you are

i liked it, it made me think of pie. but thats a good thing! but seriously, i liked the flow of the words, every line went hand in hand with the one befor it. its cool and original, i liked it. though i ask you if its just something you thought of, or something that you've been thinking of yourself"

A letter from a loved one
    A deep and unfading scar
    Your memories are nothing
If you canít remember who you are

would this mean anything important to you?

I think this is a decent piece. But why would you write if you did'nt even know what it's about? no offence or anything, maybe I'm just old fassioned. I tried to pick out a meaning but every time I did, the next line contridicted that.
This has potential. Maybe figure out what "you"
are trying to paint for us and it'd be better.
    Keep it up!
