As I'm floating from the earth,
come memories of my child birth.
When all was brightness in my eye,
before society snuck in its lie.
I think we all were different then,
no notion of pain nor death or sin.
But seeing now at what we become,
From pain and writhing we never succomb.
I had hoped we'd learn, and not be shy,
to teach our children before we die,
that time's what we make it,
and life's what we believe.
Please, someone tell them before
we all leave. |
