Description: i wrote this about my dad and what he did to our family when i was about five...he kept on yelling at my mom and i was crying and he was choking my mom...then he yelled at her "look what you made her do!!!" referring to me crying to death...but it was his fault...see my dad was a cocain addict and some times it was like he was going crazy...he needed help...so we left him and he finally cleaned up his act...7 years later...i hope you like it...it only took me about an hour...but still there is alot of feelings that have been kept in for so long...enjoy ^_^ byebye loves

Your anger raged
And there was nothing for us to do
The words you were screaming
Seven years ago
Still run through my head
Whenever I dissapoint you
I remember the bruises
Around my moms neck
And I remember our lives
You just had to wreck
Even though you apologize
Over and over again
And you even got help
For your problems
But even then
A part of you is missing
That will never return
Somehow I think It's a fear
That inside me burns
And I'm amazed
How I can't even talk to you
Because you will always argue
In your eyes
Even my feelings belong to you
So I'll write this down
But never let you have it
Because it will ruin your life
Just like you ruined ours
And I'll tell you something true

I love it, you can feel the emotions running out of it, its soked with sadness. I love it.i love poems that have feeling and this one has plenty of it! great job!
I really like this poem. I assume it is about a man in your life personally your father. But back to the poem. I see how you feel and sometimes you just have let people do what they are going to do or you end up hurting yourself even more. From one poet to another best of luck and keep you head up. Let the pen do the talking and let your emotions flow.
