Me, My Thoughts And My Words The moment my fingers touch the keyboard Is the moment where all my thoughts are set free Like a ranging fire across a hay field.. Moving swiftly and moving fast With such gentleness and easiness It never occurred to me There would be a writer inside of me An adventurer perhaps And observer maybe An analyzer, a must But never a writer Although I love dancing with the words And finding the expressions And touching the meaning A teasing the feelings And once I start to write It feels, so completely right Usually my eyes would shine bright Like a cool breeze on a hot night Filled with eagerness Filled with enthusiasm Filled with joy Filled with pride Filled a sense of satisfaction Beyond my mind When I reach the end of the thoughts It slows down very calmly And ends very smoothly This is what I’m today This is who I will be tomorrow Me, My Thoughts, And My Words |
i like this a lot, I am sura anyomne that writes will undersatnd this, and relate it to the first moments of discovering that thoughts flow on a blank peice of paper, or screen,or other moments, where it becomes a nessesity to carry around a book, a pen, something to write in when out of nowwhere thoughts come and they need to be written.,| Posted on 2005-12-01 00:00:00 | by mimi | [ Reply to This ] | I like this work because it explains what some of us are like in our creative process. Almost an empty shell until we sit at our computer or with pen/paper in hand and then the thoughts and words flow until they can't anymore. The last line of the 4th verse is the A suppose to be And because it sounds a little off. | | Posted on 2005-12-01 00:00:00 | by auntwheezie | [ Reply to This ] | |
