Silent Reality, Silent Lies dots

The fool on stage
trying to please the crowd
thoughts fall from end
but none ever aloud

be still and breathe harsh
burn, sweat and tears
forgotten voice
silence for all ears

imaginary reality
magic begins to breathe
our lies are truth
it takes one step to believe

feed the lions,
pull out your heart
display it before you
become the part

fancy fool upon the water
black surface as you dance
two souls fused into one
last night, last chance-

your heart’s pounding passion
time begins to slow
souls tear in two,
is it really just a show?

I liked this. It makes your blood run cold when you reach the end. I loved this stanza:

feed the lions,
pull out your heart
display it before you
become the part

That's what every damn drama teacher tells you. It is truthful, but it gets annoying after awhile. After hearing it fifty million times... But, you used it simply, shortly and sweetly.

This was straight to the point. Getting so involved with a character you truly do become the character. You feel what they feel, see what they see and live how they do.

Kickass job!
