    dotsKnock-off Humanitydots

We are the huddled masses de jour,
    masquerading a relationship
    under Pride and Predjudice propriety
    untainted, unharmed
    unsatisfied we relish
    in the risque, allowing
our insecurities to be displayed and

    sold on street corners
    by unwilling hustlers
merely cheap pieces of knock-off jewelry
    left carelessly careening
through the hands of over-eager consumers.

    They buy and sell
    our humanity
    and call it clearance.

i'm not going to analyze this piece, though i think i could for days.

i'm very very impressed with your language and your images and particularly your poetic style: it's wonderful.

    very very well done :)

haha. you got me chuckling there. what a witty and satirical piece of writing! (wondering why no one has commented on it yet) i love the way you treat such a serious subject with a seemingly nonchalent attitude. i think it kind of reflects how people tend to simply dismiss the value of humanity. or perhaps there isnt really much value to humanity now anyway. there are far more 'important' material things to pursue I suppose. anyhow, great analogy of a garage sale! I like it.

    thanks for the write.

    take care,
