      wow this is so cool and i really like it this poem explains alot and it discibes to me a lot of what is going on and the fact that you can't get out
    i love it at the end were you end up being a rat and it comepleatly turens around.

      Ah, good old William Golding and his troop of animals masquerading as children! You've actually touched on one of my favorite novels (appropriately revisiting a Cold War situation being played out in the Middle East among 'nation builders' who've become no better than Stalinists) and the power struggles that ensue when society falls apart. Although it's not a masterpiece,this is probably better than you imagine it to be; it certainly conveys the panic of the last few pages of the novel (before the rescue, of course). For the spoof you've designated it as, this is nicely done.
