Okay this is the poem i wrote for a Honors 10 English assignment. I'll tell you what i get on it if you tell me what you think lol. But seriously tell me what you think anyways.

Oedips, Oedipus
doomed from birth
was a hero in the beginning
for all it's worth

Tried best to figure out
The prophecy unfulfilled
and what really happened
when Laius was killed

Oh Oedipus, Oedipus
from birth you were doomed
for your wife had a dark secret
and evil still loomed

For your birth right
was like no other
it was to kill your father
and marry your mother

Oh Oedipus, poor Oedipus
eyes now blood red
exiled from Thebes
soon to be dead

4: Pretty cool
5: Wow!

This is very interesting, I've never read Oedipus so I liked how even to someone who's never read the play could understand what it was about. Sounds like a pretty wierd play. I would improve working on details and just kind of listed what happened, one tip is to use the five senses...smell, touch, you know. Colours is an easy thing to start with, I compliment you for using "blood red", now go ahead and use more! Good job!

PS: Thanks for the comment on "Rape of Juliet", chocolate ice-cream is awesome, by the way.
