    A constant scratching.
    "Tink" of metal against wood.
    A droning hum.
    "Crinkle" of abundant papers.

    My head throbs,
    My eyes ache.
    Consciously unclenching my hand.
    Forcing myself to not think.

    Still breathing heavily,
    Face flushed as ever.
    Fidgeting nervously,
    Counting the minutes.

    I don't understand -
    I shouldn't be so anxious.
    Sit up straight, stretch.
    Wish I could walk around.

    What's wrong with me?
    The test is over!

LOL! Been there! I take night classes and I can never get to sleep after taking a test. We also read Gatsby in our lit theory class (I read it a very long time ago). Nice work.

Hey this was great. I love it when people write about simple personal things, that people can usually relate to. It was just like..."yep, I so now how that goes".

But it was such good description and words that really made this poem wonderful.

    It's great...good job
