My poetry is for you to listen and not read,
don’t miss the trees when I plant the seed.
I steady my rhythm to the blowing breeze,
my destiny is to shake your knees and still fulfill your needs.
I say things to you I could never say any one else,
please see these line as part of yourself..
If you turn my pages and loose your breath,
hold to the mirror images that brought you there.
My poetry is for you to hate but not discriminate,
understand I mean every word I say and I hope you take it that way.
Open up the truth and come on out of the shade,
my seriousness is endless with no time to play.
With your eyes wide open I just can’t lie to you,
when I too have been confused, up, down, and through,
my finger tips type the blues and tell the path of my shoes,
so sometimes I realize, I hate me too.
My poetry is for you to smile and cry at the same time,
get lost in the thoughts you thought you wouldn’t get off your mind.
cry when you see the smiles you had left behind,
smile when you cease the tears and finally dried your eyes.
Let me rain you soaking wet with my agelong regrets,
recollect the emptiness but believe I told you best,
when no one’s listening you too can confess,
the sunshine ain’t so pretty unless you been through some mess.
My poetry is for you to eat when your starving hungry,
believe someone else knows your cold and your lonely.
If your shivering or quivering with a smiling face,
rewind my lines and remember your not the only.
Bath yourself clean in my sweat, blood, and tears,
win again when you listen in on my wonder years.
Let me cuddle you with a lullaby for your heart breaks and fears,
we can drift past your solitude til your not even here.
My poetry is for you to make love to or make love through,
let my praying hands reach out a book and touch you,
let me whisper in your ear my lovesick groove,
you don’t have to call it sex unless you cum to.
My poetry is for you to get high to,
close your eyes and fly to.
Give up and die to,
get up and try to.
My poetry is for you.
