The two things I think about silence.

Make the font bigger!! Double Spacing Back to recent posts.

Silence echoes, it has a sound
    Silence beckons, to be found.

Those who search out silent places
    Find their woes shall multiply
    In the many silent faces
That they looked for, that they spied.
    Silent looks and silent words
I have heard and I have seen
    In the many silent herds
But maybe, it was just a dream.

    Magnitude in silent phrases,
    The power of unspoken thought.
    Genius past through the ages,
For Nothingness is not for nought.
    Emptiness of silent houses,
    Silence of an empty room.
With all the noise that now surrounds us
    I wish silence would consume.

Very intriguing indeed. I've been thinking about writing something about silence for a while, but I could never find the wording to make it sound serious, but now, I don't have to, so firstly, thanks for saving me some work.

But seriously, this was very good. I can't really pick up on anything because its all pretty much describing the same thing, but you did well to condense your ideas into (effectively) 2 stanzas when others would have worn the idea down by writing a lot more. The only thing I would perhaps change is the 5th and 6th line of stanza 3 to: "emptiness of an empty house, silence of a silent room" because you used silence twice in the first stanza in the same line quite effectively, and using it again wouldn't wear it out as well as providing a little more structure. But all in all, a good write in my opinion.
