This may seem random, but it's just something I was thinking a moment ago. Dedicated to AnointedPoetess, who inspired it with a discussion we were having on AIM If you can understand this and relate, then I've done my job

Look into my eyes and you see into my soul
    A poetís curse
But in that case Iíll take the toll
    A mission given
    A call sent forth
    I must respond
Beyond my limits I must go
    To a new plateau
    With new fears
    New tears
    New struggles
    Beyond what Iíve endured before
I fight to reach the open door
    My heart soars
Godís favor has seen me through it all
    Even when I fell
The lies I tried to sell myself
    Were not enough
    My heartís desire
    The fire within
    A change from God
    To begin again
    As His devoted
    The battle I win
    Souled Out to Him
    Ready for it all
    Breaking the Chains
    Destroying the wall
    To answer the call
    But above all
    To be his own
    Chosen one
    I cannot fall
I stay souled out to Him
    Triumphant and victorious
    I win
Because this is where I begin
When my all is souled out to Him

I like the idea of the poiets curse, it suggests it is something thrust upon a person rather than mearly apass time. In just two lines you suggest the poet has to deal with the sight and depth we all share. The rest is beautifully written even if i can't agree with the themes. Well done1
