    Sometimes, I sit and talk
    to my friends, but
    I still feel so alone.
    No one understands me
    except you.
    We were best friends for
    almost two years.
    What the hell happened?
Every day I find myself thinking
was I in love with you?
    Am I still?
    I remember in eighth grade
    when we played basketball.
    I had so much fun
    even if I did lose.
Any time I was ever with you
    or thought about you
    It made me smile.
    Still does.
Maybe I was in love with you
eight years ago or maybe I wasn’t,
but I think what’s more important
is that I am in love with you now.

The constant questioning is very true to what can happen when an intense friendship turns to something more. Feels very much like a stream of conciousness, which I really like. Quite common-place imagery but that can make it even more realistic.

Nice use of rhetorical questions ... a little common but they fit in well with the rest of your piece. I like the flow; it's a nicely captured thought. There’s always that boundary we’re not sure about when you love them so much as a friend that it sits between emotions. Anyways nice write makes me think about some intense friendships ^__^

Wow, I think your poem really says something, i can relate, I had a really great friend and somehow i felt feeling that where a little more friendly than normal then he moved away and i never made any atempt to tell him. Keep writing.
