A tribute to my loving sister, hurt by the one person she should be able to trust, our mother.

    dotsA tributedots

    She cuts her down
And insults her in every way
    Makes her cry
    And torture her without meaning
She is crude and awful to a beauty
    Such as her
Calls her names and haunts her around
    Gives her low self respect
    And suffocates her life
Takes her and crushes her soul
A beauty can run and hide,
    Try to escape,
    But an all seeing hatred,
    Finds her every time.
    She waits in silent tears
But she doesn’t no if she can survive,
    So help this crying beauty,
And tare down this god forsaken monster,
    That over whelms her being,
    And give her hope again
    Even in the darkest hours.

You asked for sympathies and you certainly have mine. The powerlessness of childhood sucks. My parents told me I was great and if you read my poem Chained Child, they couldn't really save me from myself. It isn't fair for a parent to attack a child's self esteem. A child can do that just fine by themselves. Childhood does end. Hang in there.
