    Description:
       About my Grandmother....

Make the font bigger!! Double Spacing Back to recent posts.

    dots...And Beauty was Her namedots
    -------------------------------------------

    She walked in grace
    And ran in truth

    She dealt in love
    And paid in pain

    She was my grandmother
    And Beauty was her name….

Imagine with me a woman who gave her all
    Strength and purpose
    Charm and generosity

And for all that she’d given,
    She received a fierce animosity
    Cloaked as loving religiosity

    BUT

    She was my grandmother
    And Beauty was her name….

To be so selfish, to want to retain
To hold on to, to lovingly claim

    My GRANDmother
    And Beauty was her name

most definitely the repetition works here...

and this is a really strong homage to you grandmother...and what she had to go through and how you admire her...

    "cloaked as loving religiosity"

    excellent line

"she dealt in love/ and paid in pain"

isn't that the way it is...why more people just can't love each other..i don't know...

people thrive on hate and being miserable...and making others the same way...

    like this write lots.

a wonderful tribute to your grandmother...I normally don't like repetition in muse but it actually helped to keep this held together. I loved the soft hushed tones this piece holds you also had some really good lines...my favorite being the first two...

    "She walked in grace
    And ran in truth"

such beautifully poetic words...and for that you get one sh*t and two damns from me...

and yea that's one of my highest ghetto compliments! lol

You have me intrigued now to view some more of your posts...
