Why does the world have to be so fucked up? As I stare at society through the little window I've made myself, I see nothing the resembles a child's innocence. It's disgusting.

I was sitting in the mall the other day (bad thing to do any day...) and all I see this little girl, couldn't have been over 11 or 12, and her mom. This little girl was dressed like she was going to a bar, coming out of a lingerie shop (holding the bag for herself nonetheless!!!!!!) and pulling out a cigarette from her purse. I was sitting there, going WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?! I don't care if anyone agrees with me on this one or not, but I'm sorry. That's just wrong. Children must lose that innocence to grow as a person, but there is a time and a place for that..... a 12 year old should not be buying lingerie, should not be smoking, and sure as hell should not be dressing like some fucking tramp. Fuck this world...

Wow... amen to that. Honestly, I completely agree with you on this one. Perfect truth.

Before I go any further... I would just like to thank you for that most appreciated comment to gave me regarding my featured piece. I'm very glad that you enjoyed it.

Moreover regarding this piece of yours...
Your description of watching that young girl at the mall...geez. You're absolutely right.
It is truly sad to see what this world is coming to. I am actually ashamed to call it the world that I live in. It's an embarrassment. Our children, our innocent, beautiful, pure children, are being subjected to the worst [censored] in this world.
I truly wish I had the answers... or better yet, the solutions.
But what can you do? I try, but in the end...every time, failing is almost too much to take. Is this world a lost cause? Is all hope lost and dead?
Honestly, I don't think so. I just hope I'm right.

Anyway... whoa, I got way off track for a moment there. This was a great write. I'm glad I read it.
Really makes you stop and open your eyes... open them to the truth.
