originally written in june of 2005 but i decided to post it here because it's a poem about love and stuff that i wrote to my beautiful baby-doll

a wish and a dream dots

I had a dream, yes a dream...
and in it you and I, we seemed,
to be happy living free,
free from turmoil, and jealousy,

I made a wish, a wish today,
I wished that you and I one day,
might find the means and find the way,
to be together forever as we always say,

It is my hope, my hope indeed,
that you and I might meet each others needs,
that if we should have the chance to breed,
our child will grow and our love it will feed,

I have a belief inside my heart
that we will complete what we aim to start,
and working together may find no need to part,
because we've both been struck by cupid's dart,

I had a vision of you in... wait maybe i should keep that to myself
the fact is that i love you in any manner of health,
i know that together we can have more than wealth,
and make many memories to put in albums on the shelf,

I hope and dream and wish and pray,
these things for us now and every day,
and offer now my feelings to you,
written in words like a song,
for your heart to sing true.

  It's very beautiful.I love the love and admiration you put into this. Most people can relate easily to this and that's why it is so fun and enjoyable reading..I loved it keep writing

  this is a very beautiful poem a great metphor and I love the way you write, This one cover each aspect of your love to make it a whole truely a good write I really enjoyed it thanks for sharing that with me.

  What a nice dedication to your sweetie! I like the stanzas - dream, wish, hope, belief, vision...it's not one part but a coupling of them all to make a whole!
I like the last stanza with the exception of the last couple lines - it trips up a bit - perhaps:
"I hope and dream and wish and pray,
these things for us now and every day,
and offer now my feelings to you,
written in words (of) song,
(in) your heart to sing true." just an example - great though!

  That was a very nice poem. The only thing about it though is the last two stanza's are kind of cluttery. Still a great write though, keep up the good work.
