       Hey, look! More Shakespeareness from me! It couldn't possibly be because I'm reading Hamlet in English class! (lol)

    dotsA Strange Racedots

    What a strange race are they.
    Like the pages of Alexandria,
    And the sunken island,
    We cannot understand them.
    So wholly are they hidden,
    We know not where the flesh goes.
    Even the youngest flees the bone,
    As the soul, but to where?
    A race so wholly unknown
    We dread their sight.
    The living will never understand,
    Yet, try we must and do.
    The sight of it makes one
    Feel so very mortal,
    For it is the shape of
    Beneath bright cheeks;
    Under dry, old skin;
    Whether eyes twinkling or livid;
    Lies this white, placid skull.
    Greater than our death,
    There is no equalizer.
    Once dug, placed, and left,
    All become one. Redug,
    And limbs of one join the
    Head of another.
    Such a vile comfort
    These private thoughts are.

      Impressive write, i enjoyed reading it and seeing the images it portrayed within my mind, as for it's
    "Shakespeareness" i couldn't offer opinion as the last works of Shakespeares' i read was about 10 years ago at school and i didn't take much of it in.
    All i can say is that i have rarely seen this type of work portrayed well on this site, yet you've managed it very well.
