    (solemnpen)
    Many soldiers live and die
    Many ryders still cry
Living to make this mic shed tears
    Living through this music
    Through triumphs and fears

Gotta take a second to look
at the times that we took
    life for itself
To look at the outside, just fame and wealth
Thinking this shits gonna be here forever
This mic and my soul, this bond will never sever
Trying to keep my mind free,
    as my soul is chained
    Hip hop ordained
    To try to maintain
    To try to sustain
As I dream of 10 years after I'm gone
Little kids, swaying to the flow of my song

Man kicking rhymes just to bring me to life
I’ll live forever, I wonder what eternity’s like
We gained trust so we lose the formalities
Leave a piece of me behind, this is true immortality
Pain’s wrong so people we have to be righteous
When I die I’ll leave music behind in my likeness
    x2

    (unknown soldier)
Yo I’m the opposite of Mars—opposing wars
    I jot down these bars
Then rip em off the page and shoot em like stars
Bring down the battle gods—and burn haters with cattle prods
Imitators turn traitor so I’ll name your son Benedict
And he’ll grow up to die and tell lies like our president
    Yo, I’m one of music's immortals—travel through Outerworld’s portals
To wage Mortal Kombat in defense of my planet
Me, Nahlij, and Orpheus can rock other dimensions with our lyrical talents
Back by popular demand—understand that we crush mics with bare hands
Voices that can cause your entire foundations to shake
I bring words—that if heard will make the Bush registration just quake
My rhymes cause the mitosis of osteoporosis
So every bone in your body will break
Bake flows at 400 degrees—so they can serve as anti-freeze
Hoping for the regrowth of trees—as real emcees do what they please
Yo I hate nectar and ambrosia’s sour to me
If the whole world’s blind, how can we see?
It’s time that we show you how music empowers us three
The new generation, overthrowing the powers that be

Man kicking rhymes just to bring me to life
I’ll live forever, I wonder what eternity’s like
We gained trust so we lose the formalities
Leave a piece of me behind, this is true immortality
Pain’s wrong so people we have to be righteous
When I die I’ll leave music behind in my likeness
    x2

    chopping like a seminole
    flipping like a centerfold
    tripping like a record
    deejay cutting like a dinneroll
    power like a tv set
    lit like a cigarette
slip in the room like a roofie
with more lift than a suplex
    you buying into lies
you haven't been fed truth yet
hard to be full and plump
    since what i spit isn't spoon-fed
    i'm taking awareness into space
cuz we haven't hit the moon since
we struck oil in Saudi town
and acted a fool in Bhagdad
    mad yet? bitch officials
    crying for a timeout
time pays and my mind's stout
enough to gouge a nigga's eyes out
i reign fire like rain water
    on your brain daughter
    insane to claim slaughter
but that's how i earned my name
by crushing like a pile driver
    starting fires like a lighter
    i aim like a sniper
at ya heart like my siphers
i write like a sharpie with no ink left
turn around twice and swept hard
gave the wind a pink chest
i'm a rock act at the jazz fest
    unheardof, my lady's a killer
    her name was rosemary
    and she wrote murder
she was told to tone it down
but she kept taking the tone further
    now a days
    i'm like a Oj case
i never intended to hurt her
but i was a quick learner
picked up the mic and squashed it
    i still love picking fights
in the middle of the mosh pit
    but i'm a fucking prude
    i changed my attitude
my new bag i dew rags and tatoos
    who's who in your crew?
    they look like gentlemen
    all fair game
i'll twist em' into every postion
    till rosemary calls me hurricane
    down the sewer drains
    through the water pipes
    lives a void of sorts
    darker than welsey snipes
harder than snowcones on everest cliffs
its easy to call me a pimp
since i make everybody my bitch
    immortal, get it?
got it? shop it bag it
    we pm.p.'s, eating M.R.S.'s
    spell everyone elses name f-a-g-g-o-t

Man kicking rhymes just to bring me to life
I’ll live forever, I wonder what eternity’s like
We gained trust so we lose the formalities
Leave a piece of me behind, this is true immortality
Pain’s wrong so people we have to be righteous
When I die I’ll leave music behind in my likeness
    x2

Think Feedback more than Compliments :: [ Guidelines ]

    1. Be honest.
    2. Try not to give only compliments.
    3. How did it make you feel?
    4. Why did it make you feel that way?
    5. Which parts?
    6. What distracted from the piece?
    7. What was unclear?
    8. What does it remind you of?
    9. How could it be improved?
    10. What would you have done differently?
    11. What was your interpretation of it?
    12. Does it feel original?
