Harold is now on the beach and in the midst of battle, a bullet is coming towards him. Sarah, who is still “present” tries to jump in front of the bullet in order to protect Harold, but it goes right through her and into Harold. She watches as another soldier calls for a paramedic. In the midst of death, Harold sees Sarah and reaches out to her. He sees Omega IV open and then the medic pronounces him dead and then leaves to another screaming soldier.
Sarah walks wonders what the point of the dream was, not realizing that it was reality. She walks back through the gate for the final time and she wakes up in her house. Looking out the window, the moon is paler than she has ever seen before. Thinking that Harold is safe, but knowing somehow otherwise, she cries herself back to sleep and makes a point not to know anymore.
Harold finds himself in front of Forgo and Hitherto and ask who they are. They don’t speak, but merely raise a hand to the sky. Harold feels a rush of pain while everything dashes to white, and Omega IV opens again, sending Harold to Ursula. He is lying on the ground in a another battle between two different armies, but he is still unconscious. |
