Gypsy Fool dots

Butterflies and lavender
out of the blue
Old familiar song on the radio
could this be true?

Overwhelming strong feeling
sometimes emotions can’t be chosen
Mysteries beyond conception
outside your body you stand frozen

Forget about it, let it go
the 26th is creeping closer
Will it happen, I don’t know

Follow the lines down your palm
see them fade away
Destiny is made for fools
live your life day to day

  I like the feeling this poem gives me.

It is like a breeze of fresh air.
Your last line is so heard before but somehow it is well tucked in with the rest.

It is the second poem I read of you and I think you are very talented.
I love the way you conveyed the message.
It is about fortunetelling no?

The future is always alluring but somehow knowing too much does not allow us to live the present.
It is like when we have the future told, we live more on expectations than on actual actions. We live by life rather than living it.

I enjoyed the read.

  When expectation freezes hope in midair and the blind grope for 'signs', some consider it prophecy (as if goat entrails held all the knowledge in the world). You've come to the wise conclusion that fate is what we make of it and the future is shaped by vision, not superstition. Will it happen? Won't it happen? Reach into the unknown darkness and find out whether the road before you matches the map of your hand. Nicely done. Take care. Bill.

  This is a good little poem with a really good and wise message. Life should be lived day to day. There really is no other way. haha! But seriously, you have a good outlook on how to deal with life. As I read this it made me think of a palm reader with predictions of the future. I would think perhaps you had a fortune teller give you a reading who said something is going to happen on the 26th of this month? It always made me wonder how people can really believe in this stuff. I dont understand it. These people are just out to make money and I guess as long as there are people out there who believe, they will stay in a profitable business. I do like the last line here. All we can do is live day to day. Take care.
