Description: AND THEN IT CAME TO BE....(Oh, and I realized something about this. The contemporary/neoteric wave/impossibility (visual) theme connected quite nicely....I thought. Haha. If you are completely stupefied at this point, the tide represents the impossibility of being cleansed of these 'impurities' which the speaker describes. I thought the icicles and the wind symbolized clarity and renewal while the tide and surface (ground) was rather the opposite, or the fighters against 'change'. I think this write can be said to be many things, but that's my general idea of it.Ta-da.)
Land vs. Dreams -------------------------------------------
Icicles dancing on the pavement, gradually lacing into the soil, crystallizing the ground into rain. A damp path of sprightly dew comes up from the ashy ground renewing the unfamiliar, oscillating dream. The fire’s subdued for now. The wind is blowing quietly: it’s pulse is one with my own. Closing in and out with the sporadic tide; a contemporary welcoming. If only clean for a moment, take me back to the skies, away from the nightmarish requiem that it set for all humankind.
Ambushes of neoteric impossibility are shallow now;
Closely accumulating into the wicked ground.
