    I lay awake late at night troubled
    by thougts of what would have
    happened but never did.

    I close my eyes in hope of a
    peaceful sleep only to see
    your once handsome face
    looking back at me.

    I ask myself the same question
    although i wont get an answer
    and knowing that scares me.

    I wish i knew what to do to stop you
    from walking that path to
    self destruction that leaves me
    here on my own.

    I hope theres a time you'll look
    back and see that i tried to help
    but only failed you will see
    that i gave advice but it was never taken
    to heart.

    I want you to know i will always be here
    waiting always careing no matter
    what you do or how life ends i will
    always wait for you.

      i can tell you really care about the person this is for and they someday will understand what you tried to do for them. personally i like poems that rhyme but you did great on this, it caught my attention and kept my interest.

      a very strong feel in this, its easy to distinguish work from the heart and work that some one tries to create. This my friend is very nice, its clear to see that you feel strongly, it makes this special.
