just thinking. say whatever i dont care

Women

Why do people try and stop something that starts as soon as your born
Women seem to think that as soon as they turn 35 their old and worn
laser peels, facelifts, implants, and plastic surgery
thinking that is some small way their managing to hide from father time
God forbide that women grow old and become wiser over time
We all need to look the way we did when we were young and knew nothing about the world
I know im young and yall are probably wondering why im talking about this because im not even an adult yet
Im talking cause i see young teenagers tryng cover up age that they dont even have yet
Packing tons of makeup on so noone sees who they realy are
Whatever all i know is i look up to women aho let their wisdom show with every line and wrinkle they have.

aww. gena's having reflections upon the beauty driven society that the world has become. that's so sweet. haha. well this was good. i like the fact that u stand up for this, especially since u yourself happen to be a young woman. no offense ladies. i think ur right though. young kids try to look grown up by wearing make up and dressing more "sexy" but they just come off as slutty and then they start having sex at age 12-13. and the older women try to look younger and thinner cuz that's what's hot in Hollywood right now. the bull[censored] never ends pimp

Nice rant. I can't really give good feedback though, it doesn't look like you spent any time editing your work. Keep writing.

I agree, unless its something you really think needs a little cover up, like a bad pimple and I meen BAD, you really dont need to use a lot of make up. But now in days, girls start wearing make up as soon as they hit 12, I dont get it either. Im with you on that one.

You're right, people care too much about their looks. Girls who refuse to eat just because there's someone who is thinner as they are, it's ridiculous.
I'm glad you're not a part of those people, you must be a special person I guess. Tell me if I'm wrong, but that's what I think.
Anyway, very well done and I completely agree with you.

Not a bad little lesson to get out there.
Why ARE people obsessed with their looks? Probably because they're brainwashed into it by the same people that make so much money out of selling them the stuff that they tell them they need.

Nicely said, well done

be happy

Although this doesn't strike me as poetry..I love to hear wisdom pouring forth from a 15 year old girl! You are so right and judging from the strength and power behind your correct opinion you could very well be someone who can participate in changing the views of such vain girls/ women and enlightening them that the wisdom and grace that one tries to nurture in the process of growing older is truly what counts and can influence many others that struggle with this issue. Enlightening!

Then we will get along just fine. I'm 30 and rarely wear make up. I have all my original body parts, and dare a doctor to come near me with a scapel. lol. You spoke truth and that's what matters most. The most reconstructing I'm doing is losing weight for health reasons now. You stay strong and stick to your guns. You will grow up eventually...why speed it up? And when you get to my age...just love every minute of it and yourself.

Think Feedback more than Compliments :: [ Guidelines ]

1. Be honest.
2. Try not to give only compliments.
3. How did it make you feel?
4. Why did it make you feel that way?
5. Which parts?
6. What distracted from the piece?
7. What was unclear?
8. What does it remind you of?
9. How could it be improved?
10. What would you have done differently?
11. What was your interpretation of it?
12. Does it feel original?
