The most wonderful Texan marine I've ever met..died in the line of duty in Iraq.Reported world wide...we love and miss you and we will never forget you,Robby. The procession that followed was unlike anything my mother has ever seen..Robby was an extended part of our family,God bless him always.

My grief changes colors over you
As the colors that you brought us
    Brilliantly shone through
At the memory of your laugh
    Your wit
    We became a brighter hue
And now my grief changes colors over you

The life in you so brightly lit
    Emanating such this joy
You will be so sorely missed
    The echo of a hero
Was the dream of a boy

    And we will never forget
    The rainbow you have left
As with your heart you always led
As our grief changes over you.

With that bright smile and twinkle in his eyes, he is smiling down on you.

You did a great job bringing his spirit into your work.

Robby is a true american hero - he gave all...

By using the word "color" without mentioning the US flag it allowed for and expanded image, and still the flag was present in my mind as I read.
