    He used to live downstairs
where I kept him in a box.
A box filled with empty desire,
and tossed-aside hopes for one romance.

The only question left on my mind
the last time I looked in his eyes was,
“Where has all the enthusiasm gone?”
    And thinking:

    the worst kind of conversations
stems from imitation of the self

even the warmest showers taste like ice
my biggest flaw is im too nice

    im pleading with unknown intentions,
    spirits let me be

What do you call a holy absence?
    I call it blind optimism.
