Life on this planet is never
Easy. It involves reaching
For things you do not want.
It involves keeping alive
That which you would just as
As soon see die. Even more
Frightening it involves
Killing that which may deserve
Living. It involves a lot of
Running and fretting just
For the sake of running and
Fretting. One day you wake up
And realize it’s never going
To get better. Then suddenly
It gets much better and you
Realize you can reach for what
You want and it is no longer there.
