Description:

I wrote this seeing as this is indeed the Year of the 666. This June 6th. Im not really religious so I am really not sure why Im writing crap like this. I do love this though it makes you think if you'll be here tomorrow or you won't. So please tell me how did I do on this poem

The Year of the 666

Some fear this day
They say an antichrist is on his way
Fear of the Devil is in the air
But I don't care
Priests run about
Trying to get the message out
That its a cursed day
The devil is out to play
People are in complete chaos and destruction
Building his army for the day
When the Apocalypse is only minutes away
Now the world is completely filled with fear
But the world has payed their fare
With sins from bad to worse
But Death's course
Won't be as simple
For it drives you farther from the temple
Rioting mobs, angry at each other
Blaming one another, but won't even bother
To look at themselves and say
I am the one to blame, but it doesn't go that way
Hell is getting full
But everyone just wants to be cool
So if you'll just excuse me
I'll gladly hand you the key
So you can open the door and build a new and better life
Caring for your husband or wife
Caring what happens and if tomorrow never comes
Then you won't regret it and everyone welcomes
That day
When the Apocalypse is only minutes away

I read this and yes, it is a better poem. And you say that you have no concrete belief which to me, enforces the idea more strongly. I don't know, maybe you are just writing to vent. In which case, my comments don't realy apply to you. Because when you write to escape you really need no comment, nor any grounds for improvment. But when you have purpose...as in, you are writing for a specific audience or maybe to express a point of view, I will be happy to comment again. I do like you, don't think that I mean to offend.

I like the message you have written about in this poem. The world is getting worse everyday, and I agree that we will have to stand up and be held accountable for what we have done with our lives. I believe 666 is going to be across the anti-christs forehead.
