Knowing this situation all too well I think it could've been done a different way with the wordin' to make it appeal to more people but it was good I understood where you were coming from I don't know how much emotion you put into it or atleast I didnt feel it. You don't wanna be a "snitch" but I get the feelin' that from a one-sided prospective it can be taken differently. They gang bang mostly from lost of identity and when you find a group of people who you care for then why not do everything you can to be down with them? They live by the gun and die by the gun but in their hearts they know the truth, sometimes Hammurabi's code comes into play. And the innocent that get hurt well we all go at one point or another just some leave in a gruesome way than others.
