Just a whole lot of emotion and random thoughts thrown around in the form of a wanna-be poem. Based on what happened to me March 17, 2006... St. Patrick's Day, but deffinately not mine. Meh...

Shattered dots

A life so desposable
A love never thought of
A heart so much shattered
And I'm ready to let go.

With all that I've done and all that I've said,
why should you listen to one more appology?
I'm sorry, but I have no excuse
I can't talk my way out of this one.

You offered me a beautiful life
You freely gave me a wonderful friendship
Now you're ready to forget me...
And I don't blame you.

I turn to the blade for it's rough, painful comfort
I'll shut the whole world out if that's what it takes
I love you enough that I'll be forgotten.
Maybe one day you'll still love me.

But that's just wishful thinking, isn't it?
You've got no love strong enough to give me
That I won't eventually shatter
and throw away again...

I'm sorry, Alysha...
I love you.

  Wow, i really liked this and i usually dont like poems that rhyme. I could relate so maybe thats why i liked it so much.

"I love you enough that I'll be forgotten.
Maybe one day you'll still love me."

I thought those were powerful words because made me think , well the person loves the other person so much that they want to do whats best for them evn if that means letting go and getting out of that persons life yet they still have hope.

"You've got no love strong enough to give me
That I won't eventually shatter
and throw away again..."

This was my favorite part because i thought it was powerful and had wonderful wording and it made me sad. but thats a good thing because you know a poem is good when it makes you feel something.

Anyway i thought this was good, ill probably be reading more of your work.

  This is deep
I believe you were writing this about a relationship that has fallen apart at the seems
If this is about your life
Use the lessons you learned from this situation to better prepare you in future endeavors

It sucks to get caught in that kind of situation.

Even to reflect on it in this fashion says that all is not lost. There is some introspection and hope of redemption.

The feelings in this are real and well conveyed.
