That little stick [cigarette], it controls you
It saps your energy,
And its drugs flow through you
You have no room left for love or life
It consumes you and eats at you from within
Your time is now riddled with so much strife.
So you continue, as you see it no sin.
In the hospital it dawns on you
The pleasures it gave were but a few.
Now what of your family and your friends?
Look at what’s left when your life ends!
It can never happen to me, you say
As slowly they wheel your body away!
