    dotsAbandoned Childdots

    A little girl,
    Scared in the night
    Begging mommy and daddy
    To turn on the light

    There's no responce
    Because no one's there
    Alone in the dark,
    Squeezing her bear

    She's dead in denial
    False footsteps on the floor
    Lonley, she cries
    Locked behind her door

    No light inside
    The prison chamber walls
    A scream echoes
    When nightmares come to call

    She trembles and shakes
    As the darkness closes in
    Sleep takes her prisoner
    Now the games begin.

oh my goodness, its very good, but so sad. you know? i hate thinking of all the child abuse and how aldults leave their children behind. its so heartbreaking. man, you are very deep because children, when they are alone, they have nothing or no one to hold and hang onto, and it deeply breaks my heart for many children to experience that kind of life, and hopefully, we can help because in this age, we are always thinking of ourselves. excellent write. peace.
