Ratim was quietly sitting in his room at night, thinking of his career. He was recuperated from one of his greatest disease. He was psychologically ill for the last 10 yrs. He couldn’t be able to complete his education due to this cause.
Therefore, it was difficult for him to find a job. He appeared to look quite good. He was very intelligent, honest and trustworthy.
On that night, as he was sitting on a rock, staring through the window to the next door neighbor; drops of water falling down his cheeks. He was thinking as if, he had done something wrong, and that deserves a punishment. He was thinking that, no one was unfortunate enough like him.
He was cared by his parents. He was old enough to teach something new. Also his father had retired from services since his illness. Therefore, his family income was unstable.
There lived in the next door, a beautiful girl of his age, named Lucina. She was as beautiful as the moon. She lived alone in her home. Both Ratim and Lucina liked each other.
Everyday she used to come to his house to meet his parents. His parents also liked her because of her good attitudes and behavior.
She used to bring something cooked by her; for the family. Her cuisine was delicious. Everybody liked her cuisine very much, especially Ratim. He liked to eat very much. As she knew that, she used to make her cuisine according to Ratim’s mood and taste.
She wanted to marry Ratim. But he insisted on having a job and then marrying. But she was always wanted to marry him as fast as possible. She said to Rahim that, she couldn’t live a second without him. She said that, no one could ever be as like as him.
But Ratim was helpless, cause until and unless he won’t get a job, he couldn’t marry her.
As the days was passing-by, he was getting frustrated and anxious. He tried several times to find a job, but was abortive. She also tried to find a good-salary job, so that she could take care of him; but was abortive.
But Ratim didn’t lose his heart. He knew that, one day he would marry her, and make her his wife. So, he tried hard to find a work. And at last he was successful.
When he was started to earn money, it had been too late to marry her and settled down. She had married to someone else. And when Ratim had came to know that, he felt desolate and sad. He couldn’t bear this pain, and this leads to destruction.
He fells prey to diseases and was mentally shocked. He fells prey to a mental disease. He couldn’t be able to work properly. And gradually he was captured by various diseases, and then one day the diseases took away his soul from his body; and he died.
