This was written in a hurry and it is not meant to be good. I was bored, and it took up time. It wont make sense to a lot of people.
This wasn't even half of my play list. More like, an eighth or so...but I was running out of room.

    "One thing...
    Just for one thing."

    "I never meant to be
    So cold."
    The louder the music,
    The louder I can sing.
    Home alone.
    It's my one thing.

    "The sailors only daughter,
    A child of the water."
    No where to go.
    But perfectly OK.

"Hey man look at me rocking out!
    I'm on the radio!"
That funny feeling in my stomach
Wants it to be summer again.
    Reaching for a memory
    I want to be real.

    "I've got sunshine
On a cloudy day, When it's cold outside
I've got the month of May."
    I sing along
To this classic I'm in love song.
    For once I'm glad
A face doesn't come to mind.

"Oh no, it go, it gone, bye bye...
If you want to destroy my sweater.."
Oh but to long for the past.

    'Reach out and touch faith,
    Your own... Personal... Jesus"
    I imagine
That Jesus has a funny hat,
    And doesn't like to groove.
    I win?

    "This thing, called love..
    I just...can't handle it...
That crazy little thing called love."
    I bounce in my chair
    And fumble through that song,
As I don't know the words.

"A pair of new shoes with matching laces...
A porcelain tub with bolin' water...
Look at me, I'm the king of New York."
    I misseth chorus class.
    Life should be a musical.
    Everyone should sing and dance,
    In regards to everything.

    "Hope, dangles on a string,
    Like slow spinning redemption...
I am captivated, I am vindicated."
    Spider man and Raivn's car.
Searching Gurley, for a crazy fellow.

" Well she grew up in an Indiana town,
Had a good-lookin' momma who never was around."
    Crazy drunken people,
That smoke in the dining room.
    Oh to grow up
    In Alabama.

"Freedom is just another word, for nothin' left to lose...feelin' good was good enough for me,
Good enough for me and my Bobby Mcgee."
    Oh how I long
    To have lived in the'60's.

"You know that it would be untrue
You know that I would be a liar,
If I were to say to you,
Girl we couldn't get much higher?"
    Overdosed rock idols,
    Never forgotten.

"The two of us, flipping through a thrift store magazine, she plays the drums, I'm on tambourine."
Oh I love your indie rock and roll.
    The abrupt mood changes
    And lyrics
That make me downright giddy at times.

"Run away train, never comin' back. Wrong way on a one way track. Seems like I should be gettin' somewhere. But some how I'm neither here nor there."
    The quality
Makes me want a record player.
I used to listen to this when I was sad.

Ahh, it ain't too bad...I thought it would be pretty crappy, coz you downplayed it so much in the description, I wondered why yu'd bother posting it if you thought it was that bad...?

Not too bad at all, after all that, well done

    be happy

Wow! I like your play list! You made me want to pay for down loading some of these songs. I knew a few of the songs and was singing them as I read the lyrics. This was not a typical poem I've read but it actually made sense to me. I liked this alot. It was like learning about you personally. I think this was very unique and creative. Nicely done.
