    dotsAs A Lonerdots

    I am alone once again
It is a feeling I am used to
It no longer gives me pain
    Though happy moments are few.

    Loneliness is a good friend
    It visits me very often
    Although when it departs
The day does seem to brighten.

    It is a good thing
    For one to be lonely
    Though it doesnít give joy
    One can exist peacefully.

    Many people condemn this feeling
    Indeed it is much maligned
But they donít know the peace
    One can in loneliness find.

It is good to be solitary
    In mind and in spirit
With loneliness you can live life
In the manner you see fit.

Beautifully written! I love your rhyming stanza's, how they are not every sentence, but only the second and last! And the very essence of the poem is so sincere that I understand you totally! I think it maybe something only those that are there can feel, and I have been there where you are now/were. Wonderful job!
