Description:

Simply tell me if you can relate, maybe even what's wrong with me. This is another one of my 5-minute poetry. This is how I feel at the moment and I don't know why?

Sometimes I Hide

Somtimes I hide
In the recces of the school
Conversing only with my reflection
In the glass windows
Who am I
Apart from what I know
What does the world see
that is not in this mirror
How long will I linger out
of emotional touch
Not wanting anything
more then what I think
Has my mind tricked me
into casting away my humanity
No conversations now
just the pen and the page
I hear only one voice
mingled in my labyrinth cage

well, the image i got in my head as soon as i read this was someone young walkin around the school ground, while everyone else is playing, in their own world. Entangled with their own thoughts on things and how the world works and such... a lonely feeling as well. I don't think there is anything wrong with you by anymeans you just seem more poetic then other more in touch with your thoughts then others may be. I definetely don't think your weird or anything like that though, very nice write. Hope to hear from you soon and keep writing i see lots of talent throughout this piece and im sure your hiding more. Ciao for now, amber
