    Once I almost drown
    My skin turned blue; my eyes bulged
    Held hostage by something vital to my existence
    I guess that’s kind of like love.

    Stockholm syndrome
    A two-word expression for “I love you”
    Your hands are clasped tightly around my throat
    I guess that’s also kind of like love.

    Come on, pull the trigger.
    Make my blood seep through my shirt.
    You captivate me and hold me captive
    I guess, I guess, I guess that’s love.
