I think it is great and it looks like it has 7 syllables to me.

I just wrote my first Haiku yesterday...

Oh mighty Baobab
As summer’s rain falls lightly
Another sun sets

I didn't even know what a Haiku was until a couple of days ago when I met a newbie called Mariah here on Elite.

This was her Haiku.

This was cool, and gave me a great image of a flower blooming in my mind, but your "7" line has only 6 syllables...
