I believe this poem is about one who would like to leave their mark on the world through their words I too feel that way a lot and do believe the words we write will live forever Great Job with this one God Bless Ron
oh my, disillusioned with the world.. i can certainly feel that sometimes. i tend to pull back from the world sometimes and want to live in my own delusions. this is very sad and heartbreaking, particularly the childhood memories that hold so much distrust. i do hope you can find some peace. perhaps since this is an older poem, you already have.
