Well...I don't really care what anybody thinks about it. I like it. I hope it's liked. Don't leave comments if you're going ot be an asshole. Actually, I just found this poem in one of my old notebooks. I like it, so I decided to post it. Thanks,

    Words are my disease,
    My quick release.

    Childhood memories gather
    Into a bed of mistrust.

    Moonbeams bend and cut
    Through me.

I was born, learned to walk
    On the earth,
And my soul will go into the earth
    Upon my death.

    Times are distressing in
    These Disillusioned eyes.

I believe this poem is about one who would like to leave their mark on the world through their words
I too feel that way a lot and do believe the words we write will live forever
    Great Job with this one
    God Bless

oh my, disillusioned with the world.. i can certainly feel that sometimes. i tend to pull back from the world sometimes and want to live in my own delusions. this is very sad and heartbreaking, particularly the childhood memories that hold so much distrust. i do hope you can find some peace. perhaps since this is an older poem, you already have.

    short and to the point.
