My name is hard everyone is quick to remind me. Only my countrymen never mispronounce it. Many people enjoy the meaning rumored to be holy oil found during Easter near the church. Mistakes are made even when I reap the benefits of changing my name to Mimi. |
Meron, what a beautiful name. Spanish? I can just feel the "r" rolling off my tongue. ;) I've always liked acrostics. They give a nice format to a poem and are harder to write than some think. Like all closed form poetry, words and meter must fit within the confines. So a good vocabulary is always useful as well as a strong understanding of grammar and syntax. You seem to have both and it shows in your poetry. This was a nice little description of your name and how it affects you. Only my countrymen (N)ever mispronounce it. Many people Enjoy the meaning Rumored to be holy Oil found during Easter (N)ear the church. How do you pronounce it? Mare-in? P.S- I love the name Mimi. Its such a... crazy rocker name. If I could in any way, justify calling myself and making others call me Mimi, I would pretty much love life. I get stuck with nicknames like Ann. Or Ang... which is alil' strange considering my name is Andrea. But its not too bad. Good work and good luck! -Ann | Posted on 2006-04-19 00:00:00 | by andrya | [ Reply to This ] | |
