    dotsThe House of Daddots
    -------------------------------------------

    16 years
    Of agony
    Defeat
    Broken dreams
    nd silent screaming
    Tears and cowardice
    16 years
    He has lived a child
    Under his roof
    The senseless anger
    Crazy and striking him
    The blood spilled
    Wounds healed
    And were replaced
he learned to absorb the pain
Use the pain to move on
    Emotional terror
    Physical fright
    He never ran
    Never hid
    He promised himself
That one day he would stand and fight
He died inside everytime he was hit
And he bore it with no word
Late at night he would lie awake
    Cursing the man
    The man he called dad
Robbed of childhood by cruel fate
    he moved on
Take each blow to the face
Told the lies he was forced to recite
And cried alone in the dark
    He had no help
    No way out
His flesh burned under every bruise
    Every gaping woundThe memories flash
And everytime the man begins to swing
    The boy tells himself
    It could be worse
    Could be the bat again
    Or the hammer
    Or even the dryer belt
As the horror rises like gorge in his throat
The young man turns and gives up

On the 5th line, you have a typo :-p

Other than that, I love this.
We both know I usually donít like your angrier pieces, but I really like how you show the anger and the hurt you feel towards your father.
Plus I know this had to be therapeutic

Be kind, take a few minutes to review the hard work of others <3
It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
