My Earlier Life Analysis

I've been home a long time among the vast porticos,
Which the mariner sun has tinged with a million fires,
Whose grandest pillars, upright, majestic and cold
Render them the same, this evening, as caves with basalt spires.

The swells' overwhelming accords of rich music,
Heaving images of heaven to the skies,
Mingle in a way solemn and mystic
With the colors of the horizon reflected by my eyes.

It was here I was true to the voluptuous calm,
The milieu of azure, the waves, the splendors,
And the nude slaves, all impregnated with odors,

Who refreshed my brow with waving palms
My only care to bring to meaning from anguish
The sad secret in which I languish.

Denis I really have no words that are aqetuade to my emotions right now. Reading your entries and now hearing from others who have BDD or can relate in some manner have been incredibly moving. This has become so much more than a walk to raise awareness. I feel I will be present tomorrow, not at the end, but a leg of this journey thee is on. I am so incredibly proud. You have almost completed the second part of this journey the third may indeed be a book. Take time to just be .see thee upon your homecoming. Namaste, Laurie

That painting is a perecft illustration to your point.I think your definitions of good art and great art are true and can be applied to literature and music as well as the visual arts. Does anyone read Jonathan Livingston Seagull anymore? x x

Hi, I've just discovered your phtpgoraohy via flickr and I have been really swept off my feet and blown away by the passion and art in your work. Amazing. Baudelaire's "Never be Sober" is also one of my favourite poems so I have another reason to admire you and your work. I look forward to seeing more of your work and perhaps owning a piece one day!
