"WHAT weeping face is that looking from the window?"
What I keep getting from this poem every time I read it is God looking down upon his torn creation and weeping for what he sees. Weeping from pain that he feels as he watches man kind destroy this beautiful life he has created for us to prosper in.
"Is it to wet the soil of graves?"
This says so much to me, as if he were speaking through gods heart. Soiling the graves of those who have lived and died by the sword.
