kind neither
nor cruel
(only complete)
i not not you
not possible;
only truthful

if strangers(who
deep our most are
selves)touch:
forever

My analysis of this poem is quite different.
If strangers meet, fully complete in themselves, with no preconceptions (not poor, not rich, complete, no judgements no cruelty, they meet as themselves, they meet as two people aware) then the can touch one another deeply and be changed themselves forever.
once like a spark: alive, young, born,
and then to dark: death
and in between, we touch one another...
life.
