The Curse Analysis

Cedars and the westward sun.

The darkening sky. A man alone

Watches beside the fallen wall

The evening multitudes of sin

Crowd in upon us all.

For when the light fails they begin

Nocturnal sabotage among

The outcast and the loose of tongue,

The lax in walk, the murderers:

Our twilight universal curse.

Children are faultless in the wood,

Untouched. If they are later made

Scandal and index to their time,

It is that twilight brings for bread

The faculty of crime.

Only the idiot and the dead

Stand by, while who were young before

Wage insolent and guilty war

By night within that ancient house,

Immense, black, damned, anonymous.

I am so glad you blogged about this secjubt. My children are really getting into asking questions about God and wanting to hear more bible stories since our count down to Christmas. I heart your blog! Thank you for sharing. x x

Thanks, Sherry! I was so excited when I first laerned about Godly Play! I had used the Montessori-based Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, which is wonderful. I love that Godly Play can be adapted for any Christian denomination, many age levels, and even homeschools.

A few weeks ago I was campaigning for Libz in Tauranga with Mr Russell Watkins, you had some phoots up a while back of the event. The support for Win-chung Peters is visible, but dim. One guy announced that he was a Winston supporter, and wasn't going to change his vote. I asked: "who is Winston Peters anyway? Isn't he one of the National Party?" The response... "Uh... Yeah, I think so." x x

I think it helps to start blogging for yosreulf. I let my topics come out as my day dictated. If it was a homeschooling-filled day of fodder, I wrote about that. If something happened with yoga, or I was feeling especially attached to what it gives me that day, I write on that. People will come as they are attracted to the topic being spoken of. But, a great side benefit of the blog for me has been a personal journal capability. At the end of the year, or as I go along, I print it out and bind it and I have my thoughts and feelings and some of our day to day occurrings right there to remember and my grandchildren down the line to pick up and read . . .It's all good. Write it, and they will come . . . LOL!-Cindy
