The little box gets her first teeth

And her little length

Little width little emptiness

And all the rest she has

The little box continues growing

The cupboard that she was inside

Is now inside her

And she grows bigger bigger bigger

Now the room is inside her

And the house and the city and the earth

And the world she was in before

The little box remembers her childhood

And by a great longing

She becomes a little box again

Now in the little box

You have the whole world in miniature

You can easily put in a pocket

Easily steal it lose it

Take care of the little box

The Little Box by Vasko Popa is about memories that are growing. The Little Box symbolizes the mind and memories. The memories grow from the size of a cupboard to the size of the earth. The memories and knowledge will keep growing through lifes expericences and they will keep growing until you give your knowledge and memories away. The theme is growth because the Little Box is growing and filling with experience that it will pass down from generation to generation. When the poem says easily lose it, it means when you grow older you can lose your memories and mind. When it says easily steal it, it is saying that you can give someone the memories and they can take them. Another metaphor in the poem is when the little box gets her first teeth. That means that you go through your first expeirences. The poem says to take care of the little box which means to take care of your mind because it is the most valuble and precious thing you have.

"The Little Box" by Vasko Popa is a metaphorical poem. The little box itself is a metaphor. This metaphor could be understood in many different ways. One could think that the little box is a metaphor for knowledge or even your mind. Another metaphor is in the first stanza. It has a sentence that mentions the little box getting her first teeth. This is most likley a first understanding or first knowledge. Throughout the poem the little box is found in a cupboard, a room, a house, a city, a world. Then she has a big box and has all of these things inside of her. This could also lead to the conclusion that the little box is your mind because your mind takes in all these things around it. Then the next stanza says that she becomes a small box again. This could simply be a metaphor of memory. Your mind is probably a in a state where it is back in your childhood and all that knowledge it has taken in is in a miniature version. Through these metaphors the poem takes on a theme of growth and knowledge. The perspective of this poem is one of a person advising the person who owns the little box. This poem is very serious. it is not joyful, but it is not sorrowful either. This poem can inflict great impact on some people. It can teach them a great lesson such as to always take care of your, for it is very important. Without a doubt, "The Little Box" by Vasko Popa is an intriguing poem.

The reader may think that the metaphorical meaning of the poem The Little Box is to hold on to memories because they allow you to experience the fun and simplicity of childhood again. In the poem it tells about growing up and gaining experiences and knowledge. It starts out by saying that the litle box gets her first teeth which could mean tht she is just starting to grow. Then it talks about the box getting bigger than the cupboard, which may mean that the box is continuing to grow and gain more knowledge. Then it says that she gets bigger than a room, the house, and the world she was in before, which could mean that she is almost grown and has knowledge and experiences of the world. Then it says that after recalling the memories of childhood, she is a little box again, which may mean that she is remembering childhood and is experiencing it again. At the end of the poem it says that the box is easily lost and that you have to take care of the little box. If you don't take care of your memories, you can forget them. I think that The Little Box is about growing up then experiencing childhood again through memories.

The Little Box by Vasko Popa Is speaking not in literal terms it is speaking metaphorically. It represents a little girl growing through life.As The Little Box grows older, she gains understanding of the community and the world. She also gains memories. But when she gets old the poem advises not to lose those memories because they can easily be taken away. The perspective is that of and advisor. The point of view is third person. The audience is for thinkers. The main theme for this metaphorical poem is growth and wisdom.

The poem "The Little Box" by Vasko Popa, is a huge metaphor about memories and knowledge. The box is probably a mind getting experience and having memories. The cupboard, city and world were metaphors of all the things it didn't learn, but soon did. It growing and all of the world going inside it most likely meant the mind learning everything. When the box remembered its childhood and being a little box again probably meant the mind remembered its childhood and going back to those moments with its knowledge. "Easily steal it, easily lose it" probably meant you can easily forget your memories and lose it all. "Take care of the little box" was most likely to mean keep your mind healthy and never forget anything especially your childhood.

The reader could think the Little Box is a metaphor for ones mind. As the box grows onehas more memories and wisdom. When it says it gets its first teeth it could means that it is getting its first experiences. When the boxg gets old it can be lost or stolen just like when you get old you can lose your memory. When he says the city and world is in the box it means it has memories of the city and the worl in him. When it says take care of the little box it could mean one should take care of the mind because it is one of the most valuble asset things one has.

Sorry for the mistakes I made earlier!
I think the little box symbolizes growing up and passing on to heaven. She gains things in her mind because she expierences new things. Once the person passes on you can easily forget about the person, lose your bondor have something steal your memories. Everything in this poem represents wisdom or growth and is very serious. Anyone who is a mature thinker would be able to enjoy and comprehend this poem. But the moral is for all people.

The poem The Little Box by Vasko Popa could be told by the advisor of the caretaker of The Little Box. The theme of this poem could be knowledge and experience because it talks about first teeth and first lengh and width which could be metaphors for the little box's first experience and knowlodge. This poem could also be written for all audiences with a mature mind because it talks about being young and getting older and when you have alot of knowledge and experience. The purpose of this poem could be to warn you not to take lightly your knowlege and experiences because they can be easily stolen and easily lost. The atmosphere of this poem is calm but very firm and serious to get the message through that knowledge and experience shouldn't be disregarded.

In The LIttle Box, many things have a metaphoricle meaning behind them. For example, the title, The Little Box, is a metaphor. One could conclude that the little box was someones mind. It could be the readers mind, or anyone who has a little box, which would be everyone. In the first stansa, it says that the little box gets her first teeth. I think this represents her first memories and knowledge that she gets. The auther moves on to say that the little box is in a cupbored. Eventually, the little box moves into the world. Some may say that this is about memories and gaining wisdom over age. The auther also says that you can "Easily steal it, easily loos it" This may mean that you can forget or loose memories and someone can steal your idea. There are manmy metaphors reffering to memoires and ideas such as the fist teeth, the cupbored, the worl, and losing and stealing memories. That is why I think that the theme is maturing and wisdom.
