in the winter on my

ceiling my eyes the size of street-

lamps. I have 4 feet like a mouse but

wash my own underwear-bearded and

hungover and a hard-on and no lawyer. I

have a face like a washrag. I sing

love songs and carry steel.

I would rather die than cry. I can't

stand hounds can't live without them.

I hang my head against the white

refrigerator and want to scream like

the last weeping of life forever but

I am bigger then the mountains.

Seriously, what is wrong with you people? Do you know the difference between "then" and "than"? This is a great example of the internet undermining an author's work. Some idiot copied over his poem by hand and replaced 'than' with 'then' on the last line (common enough mistake--you see it on blogs, emails, forum posts all the time). But this is a POEM. Every word is important. Like a virus, this error spread all over most copies of this poem on the internet. "THEN" has to do with time. "THAN" is for comparison. the last line should read "I am bigger than the mountains."
