A Door just opened on a street—
I—lost—was passing by—

The Door as instant shut—And I—
I—lost—was passing by—
Lost doubly—but by contrast—most—
Informing—misery—

Im new to analysing poetry but this is what i think:
Emily was supposedly a recluse and "lost" in life.
By the first stanza:
"A Door just opened on a street—
I—lost—was passing by—
An instant's Width of Warmth disclosed—
And Wealth—and Company."
She probably means that she stumbled on an aquaintance
on her path of life who blessed her with warmth, knowledge (wealth) and company.
The Door as instant shut—And I—
I—lost—was passing by—
Lost doubly—but by x was greatly moved by the various deaths of close aquaintances in her life. In the second stanza she probably implies the loss of a person and how she feels more lonesome and miserable than before.
