Perhaps if Death is kind, and there can be returning,
We will come back to earth some fragrant night,
And take these lanes to find the sea, and bending
Breathe the same honeysuckle, low and white.

We will come down at night to these resounding beaches
And the long gentle thunder of the sea,
Here for a single hour in the wide starlight
We shall be happy, for the dead are free.

An interesting poem... at first glance it may seem to the reader that she is talking about reincarnation, but a second look will tell you otherwise. In "we will come down at night..." I think she might've meant "come down" as in coming down from Heaven? Or does, "come back to earth" verifies that they were in Heaven? Whatever the case, she seems to stick to the sea as her subject place to "come down". Until the next to last line in the second stanza, "Here for a single hour in the wide starlight" the length of the time they stay could be assumed otherwise. But by puting that line in, I think she stirs a mystical, spiritual feeling... as if an enchantment prevented the dead from coming back for more than an hour...
